WHAT IS LACTIC ACID?
Kene Feminine Wash has, for its main ingredient, lactic acid, a most compatible acidulant cleanser because it is naturally occuring in the feminine area being produced by the lactobacilli which are normal flora of the vulvovaginal area. Lactic Acid keeps the normal pH of the feminine area at 3-4.5. The Lactic Acid of Kene Feminine Wash is also a moisturizer that prevents drying of the feminine area. Dryness and alkalinity can cause itchiness and discomfort.
